I am going to order a RW CDI and probably a tach. My question is what is the max rpm's that I should let the stock motor rev to before shifting. My guess is about 9500, what do you guys think.

Nothing to gain reving to 9500, on a stock motor. HP starts dropping off way before that, so revving that high doesn't get you anywhere. When I drag race, if I rev past 9 grand between gears I do worse.
I rarely ever break 9000, but I don't think it hurts anything to, there just isn't much of a need.
