I am having trouble installing the flywheel and magnet rotor on the shaft. There is a key in the crankshaft. When I slide the flywheel and magnet rotor onto the shaft is comes to a hard stop a few millimeters short of flush and won't go on any further. Hammering doesn't have any affect. Using an impact wrench torquing the nut on doesn't have any affect, it is still not flush.

Do you have to heat the magnetic rotor up to get it on?

Do you have to set the key to a particular angle?

put it on about a 1/4 inch foward from your key. then turn it backwarks and it will slip on. if your starter is off it makes it easier to turn the gears. if you still have problems give me a call.
