You can get the Baja one from bombardier or Team Alba, it rases the limit 200 rpm I think.

I dont have a Baja model , so need an aftermarket one for a standard DS , preferably limiting at about 8500 -9500 rpm

No dude the one on Team Alba is for a ds!
From what i know there is only 2 (stock ds and Baja/alba) cdi boxes that make it so you still have a limit, the only other chose is to get one that gets rid of the limit.
Sorry. Maybe someones else knows of a cdi box that i have not heard of.

Is the only difference between the Graydon-proline and the Ron Woods CDI is the rev limiter? Do any of the aftermarket CDI change the performance of the engine besides just letting it rev higher?

The graydon & ronwoods all increase the the timing by like 3 or 4 degree. I think all of the aftermarket rev boxs do this also.

The ALBA unit raises the rev limit to 9500rpm and advances the timing like the RWR unit. I think most everyone on here was concerned at one point about getting rid of the limiter all together and I felt comfortable after getting similar answers to the over-rev questions from both Don @ Knutz Concepts and Elliot at RWR. I ended up getting the RWR and installing a Pro-design kill switch for piece of mind in the event of the crash and the throttle sticks open scenario... If the extra $100 is worth the piece of mind to you then get the higher limit, I used it towards other mods.

The Alba and the Graydon CDI are the only aftermarket ones that have the limiter. I believe. They are around 9500rpm each, give or take a few hundred.

I decided to go with the RWR and spend the extra on a tach. RWR seems to be very popular around here.
