How do you clean up the head pipe

I kinda like the golden color mine has taken on over the past 80 hours of ride time. It matches the gold of my Yoshimura tailpipe too. I have seen several that look like crap though - blue, purple, etc., must be the fuel/air mix I guess.
I never have to do anything more than take a rag to mine.

Does anyone have the contact info for Jet-Hot? How much is shipping on the header pipe? Is it a ceramic coating they're putting on? I heard of a couple of people that had it done and it flaked off, however, if these guys can do it well enough so that it stays nice I'm there in a heartbeat. Well, as long as UPS/FedEx takes actually.

I suggest complete disassembly prior to sending it. Coat both head pipes, the mid pipe, and your tailpipe if it can be disconnected from the muffler. have them done inside and out - the coating on the inside too greatly helps dissipate heat and lowers head temperatures, according to recent studies published in dirtbike mags about it.
Oh, and don't forget to order new gaskets from Bomb while its being coated. Replace all three, because if one leaks after you get it all back together, you'll be wishing you had. The big gasket that goes around the headpipe that detaches from the midpipe can be a real pain to not damage.
I even think the stock heatshield looks good coated as well, and might as well do that clamp too, and how about the three prings...just use a spring tool for re-installation so pliers don't scar them all up.
