There is a frame on Ebay that is a 2000 ds650, just wandering if it is the same as the 2002 ds650 baja frame?

Alomst the same - the fan mounting tabs are different for the anti-vibe grommets. Baja frame is better.

Hightower;
Is that something that can be changed or modified easily?

To make a '00 or '01 like an '02 baja, it would require welding some tabs for the grommets to mount to. Look at your fan mounting and you'll see the tabs. Its hard to explain the older style mount, but basically the fan just bolted solid to the frame with no grommets. The grommets were added to help lengthen the life of the fan from vibration, but its not really a big deal. there is no bolt-on conversion available, but a guy could use his imagination to come up with something simple I'd guess.

AZ - you don't need a fan 'cause your bike doesn't sit still or ride trails slow enough - if you weren't such a speed freak then your red light would come on!
