@DSWolf:
Yes, the carb is wonderful, adding much more power by 2500 1/min. On top there is not a big difference between the stock and the KTM.

@I don't know the name!! Yes, you could by this reverse kit from the Swiss company (Peter Friedly), its like a starter for a car and gives some speed to a extra sprocket which is mounted on the original sprocket, but of course there must be some electrical work be done. But it is working very well, I have seen it last months in Swiss, there was a big meeting of quads from Europe.

If somebody is interested I can mail some pictures of this reverse kit (Nevertheless I would like to mention that I'm not a relation or something to this Swiss Company)

the dmv says that as long as the vin # doesnt have a 3 or a C in the 8th position, it can be done. BUT, i dont think they know what im really talking about. i told the "lady" that this motorcycle has 4 wheels but she said with the vin # i should be able to do it. so i go in thurs the 8th and start the papper work. i hope its not a waste of time. has anyone riden a quad with street tires on at high speeds? what does it handle like? thanks

ok here what u need, go to your chp office and get form #885, this is for reverence but u need to read it, then go to dmv online and get "Miscellaneous statements of fact" form. Fill out the license plate number and vehicle number and year and model. Then under J. "statement of fact" u have to write this
" I have received the form 885 and certify that this vehicle is in compliance with all requirements", then go to dmv with that and proof of insurance, pay the fee's and your done. The part that ties me up was I couldn't find anybody to insure it. Form #885 tells u what your quad needs to make it street legal.
