I was wondering if anyone had any input on what carb or carbs i should use with this kit? Im expecting my motor back on tuesday next week. I think ill try the stock carb and see if it will flow enough first. Id like to try the fcr's but ouch, expensive! Where would i get the most bang for the buck? Any input would be appreciated! Hey jeff did you re-measure your piston?
thanks

I was told at one time that Pami had found a 48mm? carb of some sort that would be the carb they recommended for the 760. Does anyone know anything about this carb?

QUADLOCO,
I did re-measure....I wasn't going crazy it is 103mm bore and piston.
I also measured things like the a stock piston to make sure I was correct. Also here is a pic of the back of the gasket package that say's 103mm head gasket.
You guys had me thinking I was losing my mind

- thanks for double checking Jeff- I'm good to go on that!
and according to my calculations IF it has a 5mm stroke and a 103 bore
the kit you have is a 733cc set up

Samcoe did tell me they are only offering a 102mm bore so I guess someone got lucky?

I recall Kuntz sticking up a post saying he was gonna try out the 48mm, and was considering using it as the standard for the 760 kits since it will be much more economical than the twin carbs, but I don't know what kind of involvement Pami had there, if any.

Quadloco - does Sam Coe have any recommendations? They must have some dyno testing with a few different carbs, otherwise they haven't done their homework.

I can't wait to see what kind of kits Trinity comes out with this year. I'm holding on motor mods 'til winter when its Arctic Cat season - hope they have them ready by then so I'll have more to choose from.
