LOL.......yea I would say they do. They have sold me two so far. I don't remember the number either. The first one I did like Hightower said and sure enough they ne the item like the back of their hand. And it was in my hand in 3 days. The second one I looked up and order from their web site. It's a spal 6.5" pull fall. Good experience either way ya order.
Hope it's the last time i have to R&R that sucker too.

Has anyone tried to find a fan with similar CFM, that is slightly smaller so that it can be rubber mounted or similar? It seems like if you find the right 6" fan and could mount the heat shield & rubber mount it, it would save alot of trouble.
Does anyone have an opinion on what the 'easiest' way to remove/reinstall the fan is? I've taken it out the top by removing the gas tank and taken it off the side by removing the head pipes. Am I doing it the wrong way or...?

I junked my fan and have no intention of installing a new one. Pour some water wetter in and you shouldnt have any trouble. I dont ride in 110 deg plus weather but it does reach high 90s sometimes, Ive had no problems, the light doenst even come on. I had to check it and make sure it worked to have piece of mind
