I have a 00 DS and am looking at updating to a 02 model . On comparison the A -Arms are totally different . have they changed the geometry on the 02 standard version , and is this different from the Baja model. Looks to me as ifthey made a manufacturing change to the A Arms for both the 02 and the Baja ??????

Other than that the only difference is the chain roller and the Fan , that I can see !!!!!!

Anybody tell any other difference ??

Well said Marky.
I read in magazines that stated the geometry on both are the same, the only difference is a manufacturing change for economy that makes them look different. Testers swapped wheels on both bikes, and the handling characteristics also migrated to the other bike.
I set my suspension up correctly for my weight, then tweeked toe accordingly, and installed new Ohtsu radials. My handling is far superior to my original factory settings, and I had a chance to compare it to a Baja recently, and it felt no better than my '01 yeller.

Undoubtedly, I could make tune in aftermarket a-amrs for even better handling, but I'm happy enough with my set-up that I'm in no hurry.
