Tether Switch
#1
If you guys plan on "weather reporting" (wheeling) on the 650 you should consider installing a tether switch in case you go past the point of no return (fall-off). I learned the hard way had the beast straight up, hit rear grab bar, fell off, and quad landed back on all four, kept going straight for nearest road. Had to dust myself off and run to stop my quad. Won't happen again.

I'm really glad to hear, that you didn't have anything horribly bad happen in this case. I've had a quad get away from me once, I know what it's like to go running as fast as you can and then grab a hold and pull with all you've got to get the engine to stall. I was lucky like you, nothing bad happened. If I recall correclt, I think my quad was headed not for a road, but a steep downhill drop or something. I think your heart jumps straight into your throat at that point.
