needle assembly help

When I removed my needle from the carb it had from top to bottom,
washer,clip,plastic washer, small washer. This is different than drawings I've seen on a previous post.
It was also in the 4 slot from top.
I was going to richen up by moving down one notch but now not sure what to do. I reinstalled washers per drawings
Any ideas would help.

the order you listed is exactly correct.
To richen from 1/4 to 3/4 throttle, you would drop the clip one notch, to the bottom groove, leaving all spacers the same. This is what would be required for running lidless, or carb mount filter. To richen full throttle, the main jet needs replaced.
The Dynojet instructions at the link above was included just for the picture - do not go by their instructions for clip positions or jet numbers unless you buy their kit - their numbers do not mean the same thing as Mikuni numbers.
