I have an 02 Baja and love it. Regardless of what some say, it is not "too big or too heavy". It is by far the most comfortable, well built big bore sport quad out there. As for being fast, I have yet to be beat by a Banshee with comparable mods. Raptors seem to come in close to the Banshees, but not quite as close. I love Banshees, Raptors, Bombs. The Banshee is of course a totally different ride from the DS. You can't go wrong with either. Your size, riding style, etc. should be the deciding factor between the two. This is my opinion from my experience.
