Default Ron Woods Big bore kit?

Well I talked to Elliot today and he told me they would like to do a big bore kit but it seems the supplier of the cylinders want to sell them 1000 units at a time! That is a lttle to steep for RWR, perhaps if there was a big petition by us for them, I mean letting them know we are interested I think they would go ahead and do it. And I for one would trust RWR and I am sure they would back there product. Let them Know how you feel give Elliot a call! Or E-mail them. www.Rotax.com

I really don't know, you would have to ask Elliot on that one.

I like RWR, and I would like to think that they would back there stuff, but certainly won't back their pipe. The last curve of the megaphone hits the swingarm, causing the midpipe to slip in and out of the headpipe joints, wearing the ceramic off in a heartbeat and then causing rust and leaks. They know, but will do nothing for those of us who have been effected by it, nor have they changed the design for future pipes to my knowledge.
I understand that they didn't have any quad experience prior to designing this pipe, and probably underestimated the flight capabilities of the DS, but they knew it has 11.5" travel in the back and the pipe shoud've been designed to accomidate this, and it wasn't. The least they could do is take it back to the drawing board for future productions.
On the other hand, they've been dealing with the Rotax motors for a long time, so I think I can put a lot more faith into their motor work. I'd trust them with my motor, if the price was right.
