Im 5 10 5 11 and 155 pounds and im only 16. Your not to small at all. I was worried when I first got my DS that I was going to be to small but the ds handles great its not hard to control and all and it amazing what it can do in a trail.

I do a fair amount of jumping but no serious gaps or anything. But when I do jump she is usually steady and level.

I'm only 5' 10".

I ride with a female that's a little taller than you but is just as light. She has no problem habdling it. Besides you will probably grow some more. But even if you don't, consider it an advantage when it comes to racing!

My 5', 121 pound wife rides my DS in the dunes without problems, so youll be fine and the DS is the best quad out there, bar none, HOWEVER, they dont come with reverse, and im 6' 190lbs, hit the gym 3x a week, AND i break a sweat and usually pull a muscle when i get stuck somewhere i gotta turn the thing around and its wheels are sunk in some soup or something, the things weighs like it was BUILT TO BE TOUGH, and you gotta be able to throw that weight around when you come to the dead end in the trail. And the weight is not even the majority of the problem, the problem is the suspension travel on these things in outrageous, so in order to get the front wheels off the ground to heave it around you gotta lift that front bumber about 4' in the air, as the wheels just keep sticking to the ground as you lift it for everything you got. All this said, dont get stuck, or in a dead end and youll be well off.

There's an advantage to being light, I only weigh about 120lbs, so when I go out drag racing, everyone puts me on there quad, because I'm lighter. I had no problem handling my DS, even though having no reverse was a pain, but you get used to it. It jumps really good, in my opinion, if I had to choose my DS over Raptor for jumping, it would be the DS. What kind of riding do you do?

I think you would be better off with a lighter quad. A predator, Z, or wait for the new 450 DS, which we really hope is in the works. Weight matters, you will be a better rider if you are controlling the quad, instead of the other way around. Wheelies and jumping are not what the DS-650 is best at. Yeah, it can be done, but it is not the best choice for a small rider.

I have had my ds for almost 2 years, I am 16 5' 10" 175. I Love it, you can rip up the MX tracks on the ds. It jumps really easy and if you screw up there is no worries because you have a foot of suspension to save your a** It saved me a few times (Over cleared 50 foot table top, it still landed hard but if i was on a different quad it would have hurt a lot more, and might not have been able to stay together)
