How many HP?
How many HP are your modified Ds's making. I was talking to the owner of a dealership and he says he has a Nitrous DS in the works for four stroke wars that as of right now has 130hp and there hoping for more. Could this be possible or is he just pulling my leg? Any answers would be appreciated i want to know wether or not to believe this guy.

I think I know who you are talking about but I am not giving out any names. And Bartlett racing, have you been sniffing around Jeff's Nitrous bottle or something? A stock DS has 42 h.p.! Unless of coarse that was a joke you were telling and I am to stupid to get it.

I know Gary is ambitious and is bringing a spare motor - just in case Will the motor hold together is the big question???
I have long stated that it will be a nitrous bike that takes the open class ( TURBOS included) it just has to be reliable to make it thru the brackets and then the owner has to be willing to put the motor on the line to actually win.
Who is willing to risk a motor for the tittle? If you're not , you're coming home empty handed.
I think Gary is willing to push it to the limit and wants the tittle.
As far as currently making 130hp- I don't think so.
When I bought my kit from him this spring , he claimed to have dynoed his bike @98hp!- I think Gary gets a little excited some time and doesn't let the facts get in the way of a good story
Since a lot of guys are getting 60-70hp naturally aspirated, my guess would be that with the 35 shot that he told me is the most he has run so far, that he is in the 95-105hp range currently.
It is possible to make 130 with a single cylinder I just don't believe anyone with a DS is there yet.
