Default Carb.

Does adding the carb. that ron woods sells make a big difference? I will be ordering one for my christmas gift.

If you are going to add the carb also go with a K&N or similar air filter and maybe go with a carbmount filter for a better increase if you can for where you ride and style of riding

You may want to look into the lectron too. It kinda hard to get used to but once you understand it it's great. do I search on it.

I just installed the 45 from RWR on mine about 2 weeks or so ago. And yes, on my ds it made the single biggest increase so far. I went with the carb mount K&N and the ported intake from RWR also. I can't speek to the lectron but if it does as well or better. You can not go wrong their either. Very much worth the money to me.

Once you get the hesitation out it get much better. Play with the the air mix screw.

the carb is a more mid-top end carb but it will help all the way threw but not at much on the low end,
hurycne what exactly messing w/the air mix screw do?

IT adjusts the right off idle. also how the engine decelerates after you rev it up
