Timing chain tensioner

Default Timing chain tensioner

How much travel (compression) does the timing chain tensioner have? Mine only moves about a 1/16th of an inch with finger pressure.

Total length of tensioner is 1.92 inches.

Is this right?

Default Timing chain tensioner

Thanks,.

Just ordered one from the local shop... Also found one intake valve clearance check out of tolerance, had to order a shim (those things aren't cheap)
