has anyone got to run the predator yet? i went to the dealer and saw it on the floor seems alright. the motor i heard seemed to make some funny noise . i did like how it felt,

 

Yes i seen one @ gordons well it had a 11 year old kid so i could not lay a whoppin on him and i seen one tricked out @ glamis and i layed a whoppin on him for both of them there was enough whoppin to go around there was no chance OH did i mention i was on my daughters 440 @ glamis.but yes i dose feel good both guy's let me set on there predators and i rode the young man father insisted i check it out and it dose handle nice but no better than my TBR WORKS DS and it dose not have near the touque the mags lie .[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

 

thanks azsand that is what i wanted to hear, now i can send my wife to race them. i love letting her race until she loses on hers then let her get on mine and she whips them it is a lot of fun. i've been thinking about putting nos on her ds so she can stay in the race longer!

I didn't figure the Predator would be much competition in the Sand. What are you hearing about the KFX700?

 

I have a Predator and while I haven’t raced a DS650, I‘ve beaten a pro circuit t4 piped Raptor with K&N filter and jetting by an average of 6 bike lengths. This guy refused to believe my predator was stock and kept coming back for more. I also took a toomey piped Banshee by about the same and took a yoshi piped and jetted z400 by at least 8 bike lengths. This was on the flats. The one challenge I might have is the tall gearing could be off for Glamis. The power comes on at higher RPM’s and I might get caught out of the power curve between gears. I'll be at Glamis this weekend where I'll surely race some DS650's. I'll let you know how it goes.

 

Thumper, those look to be pretty impressive wins. Let us know how it does on the hills. It is there I would expect to see the displacement difference.

Do you have any pictures of it currently? Are you planning to be at 4SW? (Not necessarily to race, but at least go there & see it happen.)

 

duneme it is the banshees that i get a smile about, they will jump my wife out of the hole but then she will come on strong, and to see those guys try and get more speed by rocking on there bikes is funny, then the group will start to race her in the order of speed, it is to die for as they pick on each other as they lose.
