Carb Needle spring help, please...
#1
I just took apart the carb (having some fun with the tight nuts) and had the small spring between the needle e-clip and plastic thingy (the small spring in the top end of the carb) jump out to ??????
The instructions for the k&N jet kit say there's an extra spring in there, but...nope.
Anyone have an extra one or know where I can get one locally? (so cal)
I've been on my knees for an hour with a flashlight and small dust broom (no jokes now), with no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.

All that spring does is hold the needle in place, take apart a pen and use the spring from it. If the spring seems too strong cut down the length. As far as finding one in stock somewhere, maybe Ron Wood Racing. But don't waste your time with dealers, the ones I've used don't stock crap for parts, especially internal carb parts.

Found it! With the help of my trust large magnet and a long steel rod (picked up lots of small metal particles, too)
It's like a shortened Pen spring!
Thanks for the help and advice.
