Ported Intake (Help)

I am setting up my bike for a 45MM carb. So far I have opened up the carb mount side of my intake manifold from 42mm to 45mm. Is that all that is needed if I am not porting the head?

Ported Intake (Help)

Look down the intake and it you see any place where the air would be obstructed then that is where you can match the intake to the head.

that was the deal on mine where the head and intake jioned was bad. it was almost a 1/8 inch rise.
