Default Stripped oil plug case ... help

Default Stripped oil plug case ... help

I am assuming that you mean the one at the bottom of the motor.

My ds is at the shop right now with the same situation, along with many other problems.

I talked to the dealer on thursday and he said he is going to have to split the engine or casing thing in two in order to figure out a way to retap the hole. He didn't know for certain whether rethreading it will just do the trick. But he told me that they have to spilt it in two in order to fix it. Bad luck I guess!

you probably retap the hole aslong as its straight, but thats IMO

Bad Boy Ds is that covered under warranty . If not shop told me a time cert would work . Just need to know what size .

Print this and take it to your dealer.

Mine has been tapped 3 times.

All done by my dealer for FREE. Even though I was out of warranty even for the first one

Never were the cases split.
