I had the priviledge to meet up with SamcoeDS and his boys this past weekend at LS(okla).

First I would like to say that it was a pleasure meeting all of them. They were way cool, and lots of fun to ride with and talk with!!

Okay, This guy has got the toys boys!!!! everything he owns is FAST!! He(and his son) was gracious enough to let me take the 720 out for a test ride and a couple of drags.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] It was a VERY strong motor! GOBBS of torque and incredible mid range,with very good top end.

What made it so impressive, is what the motor mods cost. IMHO this has got to be the best BANG for the buck. I know not everyone has had great luck with Samcoe kits, but this one was very smooth,and was hammered ALL day by his sons(THE PILOTS),and never had any hint of trouble.

Thanks biggerisbetter for the compliments we had a great time my back still hurts like h;;ll but that is the way it goes we are going to change some things and go back up if the weather holds out you guys are way cool and alot of fun to ride with.

 

Samcoeds- We all need to hook up. My starting sucks so everybody generally starts on my start and forgets about the flagger. After the fisrt race you will understand. Sounds like you got some killer quads, let line them up against DSmike and see what happens. How much you got in the sam coe's kits???

 

THE samcoe kit is less than $1000 including porting and i had to have a new sleve due to nx it was (broke) hahaha i need to get some swing arms for both bikes then we will come down and have some fun dsmike said he had a hookup on a swing arm so i am waiting to here from him.

 

New "sleve"? Does the SamCoe kit insert a sleve in the stock cylinder after a bore?

 

NO not if it dont need it but when the piston came apart it trashed the cly and the head real bad mine is the 105mm bore with the je piston.

 

Yours does not have the stroker crank?

 

NO just 105mm bore and head work and small cams.

Sounds like your motor is simalar to badsssbomb's DS..but he was blowing head gaskets....
Are you not having head gasket problems?And how is your head sealed?O-ringed?or just a regular Cometic gasket?
