Just something for the Harley guys out there. My dad just finished his 73 Superglide. It is a SHOW AND GO bike. And people say that HONDA owners are brand loyal?!?! Awww, Muffins - you guys take the cake, the guy bought a new bike and likes it. It works better for him. He doesn't give a **** about your opinions, but this is still a good post for those of us who don't own a Bomb.

Because you guys were sh!tting all over him for posting this topic here, calling him everything under the sun. He didn't call you guys idiots for keeping your bikes and not following his footsteps.
I thought the topic idea was good. There are alot of poeple who want to buy a quad and not have to **** with it, modify it, just ride it. He posted his experiences good or bad. For anyone else like him, this information could be valuable when looking at new or used machines. Of course it turned into a pissing match, but what can you do.
Unfortunantly its posts like these that will turn new or old members from posting any thing controversal, leaving others to make the same mistakes he/she did, for fear of making someone mad.
Thoughts and opinions are fine, information can always be found somewhere, but name calling and bashing isn't cool.
Besides, now someone else can get that DS, mod it and put it to good use!!!

1. I dunno if you read the post preious to this, I doubt it.
2. It's never too late to reply unless the topic has been closed, my reply was on the original topic whereas it seemed to have strayed somewhere over the 7 pages.

The information was good, if I were looking at a sport quad, it would be nice to know that after pruchasing a similar machine that I'd have to to a bunch of stuff to it to make it handle well. Could factor into the choice of quad for me or anyone else. This bike could be for alot of people, but not for everyone.

First off, Oh I mean, 1. His information would have served him better having been posted on the Polaris Forum. He would have gotten nothing but ADDA BOY's there.
2. Comming on the Bomb forum and informing everyone that owns a DS that they have made the wrong choice and are dumping their hard earned money into a bottomless pit, is just asking, NO BEGGING to be Abussed!
3. This was the first sentence of his post: "know the $%@% will hit the fan but I have to tell ya I am so disapointed in the handling of my 01 DS I was at the point of where I didn't want to ride it...."
He KNEW he was going to get Thrashed, he should have been better prepared to handle it. Don't get me wrong I feel bad for the guy, it is obvious that he has suffered some long lasting emotional scaring as a result of his poor judgment and his decision to vent his frustration here. His last few posts were unlegible, but if he wanted to swim with Dolphins he should have gone to Hawaii.
4. Thanks AZSAND, for the last four years it has been in the shop for all winter and a lot of the summers because he is never happy with it. My dad is always looking to add something else. Hopefully he is now satisfied with it. We have our first bike show of this year next weekend and are hoping for a good finish. Would you believe it if I told you that that is a rattle can paint job. I introduced him to Duplicolor's new "Mirage" paint. It is the exact same as camealon paint but cost a fraction of the price.
