Needs choke to start is that jetting?
I recently went to the 190 Dynojet and opend the airbox and put a pipe on and the AF screw is on 3 turns. It needs the choke to start. Does this mean I am too lean and should goto the 195-200??\
It runs good once its going and the choke is off it runs at 1400-1500RPM

The main jet has nothing to do with starting. Starting is all pilot jet and screw adjustment. Do you need the choke to start it when it is warmed up? If so, your are too lean. You can try unscrewing the mixture screw a little more. If that doesn't help you may need to go up one size on the pilot.

I just changed my pilot from stock 40 to 47.5 and now starts are much easier...I am not sure this is the perfect pilot but this is what ALBA recommended for my mods...the jet was 2.99 or something like that...under 10 bucks. I knew I was rich from all the black soot on my grab bar.
