Default cylinder psi

What is the normal cylinder pressure for the DS?

since no one else has replied yet, I'll take a guess of 170-180, don't know for certain because I haven't taken readings off a stock bike, but this should be very close. I'll bring my compression tester to 4SW if you want to check your cylinder.

I will be testing today and I have heared that 180 is about right just wanted to make sure. What about with a woods piston?

You probably wont get an accurate reading due to the automatic decompressor.

disengage the decompressor it, then do a check. Used to be easy on cable-linked kick-starters like the Hondas had (350X), now you gotta pull the head cover. Something to be said for the ways of the old - screw that damn electric start, and reverse too!!
