14.5 compression
#3
I`m will be taking my wife`s motor to "Mr. Horsepower" Eric Oldham from OMW Racing this weekend to have it massaged. One of his 14.1 pistons will be installed then.....I`ll keep ya`ll up to date as far as the build-up and HP numbers go. You should see the dome on this piston!!! I`m telling ya`ll...there IS an alternative to Woods and others....you need it, he can do it...customer service is A1. Give `em a call...1-270-334-3331 or omwracing@yahoo.com Tell him Chris sent ya.

heh you know that pami also sells a large selection of pistons. the one thats going into my ds is a 13 to 1 102mm.. the thing about it is its a flat top piston that goes above the deck so you have to mill the head to match. This alows the mixture to compressed and swirl better in the combustion camber. It also makes a better flame/flame front that doesnt have to go around the dome to burn!! IF you have a dome you should round off the edges of the dome so you dont have pockets of unburnt fuel. the loss of compression is minimual. AND the gain far out weigh the loss of compression. any questions??
