i have to wonder how the two compare when same size rider and fuels are run? i ran two 690 at the coast this weekend, and was pleased with my results. i lost 3 of 5 but found that i had a tear in my boot from the carb to the intake manifold. so i would like a run or two more.

 

Every 686/690 I raced this weekend was faster than me. I did manage to win some of the races though. But overall I felt they were quicker even though I out dynod all of them.

I'm totally getting this horsepower/weight thing now.

Not only is a Raptor lighter than a DS but every rider looked to weigh less than I do.
