While we're on the subject of CDI boxes....
I too thought something might be wrong with my carb and just today realized I must be hitting the rev limit. My question is this: will getting a new CDI box allow me to adjust the rev limit, or does it just remove the limit all together? I figure that rev limit must be there for some reason and I don't want to blow up my engine...

i wouldn't worry about hurting your ds by reving it i put the woods cdi on my wifes ds and believe me she has no idea what a red line is. she just wants to win the race.

 

wow, i'm like the opposite of u guyz, i 've like hit mine about 3 times since i've had it this past 6 months, thats only cuz i was racin a rappy down the road,

Raced a new stock banshee the other day and beat him 1 outta 2 races...it was very close. With a new CDI I could win a lot more.....hmmmmmmm
