Neon lights, how hard to install??
#1
Ok, I've read the post on how cool the neon lighting is, now how difficult is it to install? Do you just wire it in w/ your headlight? Do you have to buy the kits on the internet (with the transformer) that are $100-200 ? What voltage do I want?
Thanks for the help.
Thanks also to all the people who gave me advice on changing out my axle bearings. Everything went perfect!!
I was able to find the exact same bearings at a local bearing dealer. Exact number match! They were only $25 w/seals, and not $60 at the local Honda/Bomb dealer.

I'm not as much an expert as the guy at the bearing shop, but he showed me the numbers on the sides were the exact same, and said that the bearings are a common size used in a lot of applications. We checked everything with a micrometer, exact match, and also made out of the same materials. The seals are also a common size OD and ID, just a little more narrow. Seems like Bomb was thinking user friendly with these parts. The place I got mine from is here in Rapid City, SD, called Whisler Bearing. They have excellent service and their # is (605) 342-8822.
So far they seem to be working just fine. I believe my originals went out because of poor greasing from Bomb, a lot of crooked jumps, and a lot of creek crossings.
Good luck, Aaron
