I plan on going to Silver Lake in MAY with a couple other DS riders. Maybe the first week or the third week in MAY the second week is Mothers Day ( out of the question). I wanted to see if any one from this fourm is willing to go to. I will be driving in on Friday morning staying till Sunday.

also in 2004 the new DS is gona be revampt wt. loss new swing arm ect. it needs all that but I cant belive Bombardier is seting the rev limmiter to 7900rpm it needs to be at 9000 -9500 it lags behind in all the shootout because of the rev limimter and under hard excelration it sucks BAD. I say lets all flood Bombardier with e-mail ( bombardier-atv.com ), phone calls and dealers with how bad this situation sucks.

I am down with the trip. Silver Lake is only about 1 1/2 hour from home.
May can't come soon enough. I want to try out the new DS in the sand. I haven't bought paddles for it yet.
Do you suggest any paddles? I have been looking at the Roosters.

 

I am guessing the Silver lake is burried in snow right now.. How about a June trip???

I know a couple other guys that live around me that want to go too. As far as it being too cold, well in MI you never know.

Bigpink I have roosters on my ds, but have only been in the sand with them twice they seem to hook up good

 

What size Roosters did you get?

 

20-11-10 straight paddle and 21-7-10 on front
at the time they were the only size you can get

 

I want to get the roosters with the v-paddle. Maybe 21x11x10.
