the article was in the march issue of Dirtwheels. I too am curious when this machine will be out. 85 mph just turns my crank.

Just get one now, and change the gearing....

For the Baja 1000, they were basically just running a pipe/jetted bike with different gearing and were hitting 106mph.....

I believe stock gearing is 16-42. I got a peek at the article yesterday, and they said changing it to 17-38 made a huge difference.

hey guys~
Just by adding 22" tires to my DS, I was able to hit 82.6 mph with everything else completely stock. That was confirmed with a GPS. The only thing holding me back from more speed was the stock 7700 RPM limiter! I can only imagine how the machine would go with 40 lbs less weight!
