Default Cons of a Baja 650???

6'2" 246 LBS. I finally got to ride a predator, don't even concern yourself....yes the quad is fast, in fact it's suprisingly fast, but between the machines VERY hard seat, and the stiff suspension, that thing beat the hell out of me. If your a big dude the DS is the way to go.

I am 6'4 300+ and they are the only quad I would ever buy. I sat on a Raptor and it felt like a top heavy kids quad

03 DS650 Baha? That's a good deal for either a plain DS or the Baha. The dealer isn't in business to give ATV's away, they have the right to make a fair profit margin on these toys. I'm curious what dealer invoice is for both DS models?

XC800, the key to your question is you mentioned no sand. I live in Ohio and only trail ride except for a trip to silver lake once or twice a year, I love my DS except when the trail gets narrow or I get stuck in mud !!!! offer me reverse for a grand and I would take 2. If you ride trails get prepared for the best love/hate relationship of your life!!!! and buy a set of mud machines for when it rains!!!!

Thanks for all the response guys.......

As far a reverse goes, I am used to dragging a 500lb sled stuck in 20 feet of snow at 8000 feet on the side of a mountain. This is serious dead weight as you are dragging a ton of snow with it. Shovels in the mountains are mandatory.

The way I see it, anything with wheels , down around 2500 feet where there is some air is going to be a snap!!!

I will be paying about 9k Canadian. This is OTD as there is NO sales tax in Alberta. This is about 5800 US!!

The down side is I , unfortunatley am paid in Canadian $...you guys on the other hand !!!!!!!!!

No reverse takes some getting used to. After a while it becomes second nature and you learn to avoid certain things, park so you can get out easily, etc.

mud machines? whatta you talkin bout?
