Cons of a Baja 650???
#22
Hey boys - the best place to get a new DS is in Ohio. I got one for 5652 out the door. Brand new 03.
The Baja is a little more, I think around 6300. No tax necessary, if you are an out of state resident. I live in Michigan and it took me 2 1/2 hours to get to the dealer. I think thats worth the 1g I saved! Cha-ching!
I am 6'5" and 220lbs. The DS is the most comfortable machine ever built. I have ridden all of the others and they couldn't compare. If you're under 6' and under 180 lbs. they might be a little funner to ride. (I don't like licking my knee caps when I ride!!!)

BigPink,
What dealer in Ohio? I live in Saginaw and the best quote I received is $7200 OTD for a DS650 Baha. You must have paid MI taxes when you applied for title in Michigan? I cannot see a way to avoid taxes, unless you didn't apply for a title. I'd appreciate the details if you could?
Regards,
Brian

Bomb77 , where did you get it from? Right now we terrorize the chain with studded tires! In the spring we ride in waukegan by the r-r tracks and power lines,or we are in the process of making a trail from Harvard to janesville wi.. So far we got 17 miles done ,its lots of creek crossings and through the bush. We are probably going out this weekend , i'll let you know here on this thread . Ben

Bellracing,
I bought it from Ukes, the Harley dealer on I-94. Bombardier just signed them as a new dealer. They have a lot of ATVs in stock right now! I went for a first test ride last weekend at the bong park. It's a great machine. Keep me posted!

I sent a private message with my e-mail address. I have not heard from you. If you could, please e-mail the information regarding the dealer in Ohio you purchased your DS650 from.
Best Regards,
Brian
