Default 20" razrs, mistake?

I just went from the stock 20x11x9's to holeshot XTC 22x11x9 and there was a big difference in wheel spin I haven't been riding long!
So my experience is not much
I bought my 01 DS a little over a month a go and the tires were still stock with about 35% to 40% left.
When I would ride I could easy swing the back end around.
Now with the 22’s I get way better wheel grab.
I am happy that I went to the 22,s
As for paddles I have no cule.
21 geckos are coming I am getting ITP .190 10inch rims with them for a good deal so that is why I went that way.

I went to 22's and have never been happier.. I will never go back to 20's . You don't realize the wheel spin of the ds until it hooksup with 22's

Don't forget that the majority of your wheelspin reduction is not only the taller gearing that 22's provide, but also the fact that the stock Kenda Dominators absolutely suck tractionwise. You would have very similar results with a tire such as the Holeshot XCR which is a 20" tire but pretty much the same tread pattern as the XCT. They both outperform the stock tires tractionwise by a pretty big margin.

I love my 22's. I wouldn't go back to 20's. You get the extra ground clearance and the traction is much better.

They both have their advantages. I like 20", and run them everywhere. Its only 1" of ground clearance scrificed, but the fun ability is great! They all have their uses, to each their own. There are places I ride where I wish I had the traction advantage of the 22", but they are few and far between. I had 22" tires, and am glad I went back to the 20".

It seemed to me that the lower you are to the ground in the rear the more stable it is around turns?
