Default Intake And Filter setup???

Yea I am having the same problem with mine. I've tried shiming up the seat. But that hasn't worked. I think im going back to the filter in the box as well with no lid or snorkels. No dyno to check the results with though. So it will have to be field tested

I cut out the problem. I cut out the metal(frame)brace that rubs the carb on the underneath. Just connect the holes, and cut them out. Problem solved.

My problem is the seat rubs aginst the filter. How where you able to fix that? Do you use a filter that angles down more?

The filter bottoms out agianst the frame causing the seat to put pressure and rub holes, but when the frame is cut out the filter is more flexible and last alot longer.

I modified my frame by heating up the filter area and bending it so it holds the filter and dosn't touch the seat any more. that was a good excuse to powdercoat it. I also ordered the K@N with the 5% bend.

I have a brand new, never used, never oiled, 15degree carb mount Uni for whoever wants it - $10 and I'll ship! I bought a TM45 carb, won't work on it, so I have no use for it. PM me.

It works great on the stock carb, and it does fit the TM45 bell, but the big collar that the filter has interferes with throttle travel. The throttle on this carb catches on the collar, and can stick open. Modifications could be made to avoid it, but I don't wanna.
