How wide is too wide?

Yow, lots of replies, should have checked back sooner.
The riding will be pretty much open dune riding, I really didn't consider extra travel but that's a bonus. The center of gravity wll unfortunately be little higher than a DS's so I really am mostly concerned about sidehilling. Top speed should be way over 100mph but I would'nt attempt that anywhere but a flat area.
Raptor8 are you talking about East Fort Rock riding area. I think the trails are set at 52 inches, that gives a DS one inch either side. They set in big posts at the head and end of each trail and any downed trees that are on the trail are cut at 52". They don't fudge an inch. My friend tagged a stump and bent his steering stem and I can't get him to ride there anymore although fire roads are fine.
As for trailers, I have a 15ft tandem axle utility trailer that has plenty of room but I'm going to have to get a bigger toyhauler-camp trailer.
