Default DS650 on aluminum diet

If you read the march Dirtwheels you would alraedy know about the new swingarm and headlight. Today I got the april issue of Dirt Rider in it they talk about the new aluminum frame for the DS that w/ the other mods. will save 90#, if this is true it wll be a 400# DS650!!! if thats the case, ive been talking with a few people about making me an aluminum frame and titanium sub frame, if bomb does this it will probably save me a couple thousand dollars

Now I can go ahead and eat all those Girl Scout Cookies that just came in and not have to worry about the diet.

90 lbs. would be huge. Hope it bolts up the same.

I would imagine it would have more gussets & braces, possibly larger diameter tube in some spots, though as long as the chassis design is good it seems like it would hold up well.

400lbs would be great! Did the article mention the DS 420 they are supposedly working on?
