It was the most wicked thing I ever saw. BigWaynster and Hightower were drag racing and as soon as they were done the next thing I know BigWaynster jacks Hightower right between the eyes and then he falls right into a creekthat came clear up to his chest. I think Wayne broke his wrist.

Ok, there really wasn't much truth to that post. Here is what really happened. Chris (Hightower) was leading us through a tunnel. When we got to the end it appeared that there was enough ice to ride to the edge of the creek. Chris went first and took a hard left which transfered all the weight to the right front tire, which was where the ice was thinnest. The next thing I know the tire goes through the ice and the DS is tipping right into the water. IT didn't appear to be very deep but when Chris went in the water came up to his chest and the DS was on its side submerged in the icy cold water. Chris manhandled the DS and got it upright and then Randy jumped in to help! they got it to the edge of the water and we finally got it out. I tell you Chris is one big dude and did quite a job getting the DS out. When I saw the water go up that high on him I knew it would be a doggy paddle for me.

 

Id like to see a pic of that

 

Chris had a helmet mount camera on most of the morning. Fortunately the battery went dead after a few rides , otherwise it would have been ruined by the water.

Chris was there any water in the crankcase? You have a mean running machine there!

Man that is scary, glad he's ok. I hope the motor wasn't hurt.

I'm also glad its 55 degrees here so I don't have to worry about ice.
