Default Programmable CDI

At last we another source for a CDI check out www.vortexcdi.com they are making a unit to suit the DS650 it will have about 5 to 6 different maps onit with adjustable rev limits. I just spoke to Richard this morning and he advised me they will be available in a weeks time.

I currently have a Pami 2 cdi however I have just ordered a voetex cdi. If you are real serious about creating your own maps they also sell the software

Regards

Question, how will this compare to the other CDI's? I understand it's adjustable (a good thing), but in the best position, will it be better than the others? I guess what I'm asking is, I have a RWR CDI, will it be worth the $$$ to change just for adjustability, or is it flat out a better performer.

how much is it? i just ordered a cdi from alba witch i was told had a rev limit 1500 rpm higher than stock. when i recived it i realized it was a ron woods unit with no limiter. also they charged me 299 for it when i can buy the same thing anywhere else for 269. so i would like to send it back, if this unit is around the same price it may be worth it for the vortex
