Default $65 for a clutch cable?

I stopped in to my local dealer to order a shop manual & while I was there I priced a new clutch cable because I was told that the stock one is sealed with an o-ring or something & you can't lube it. Anyway, mine is trashed but what is a man to do, this seems kinda high, don't ya think?

I had that same reaction about a month and a half ago, except I got shafted worse - $80 for the cable. I knew I was in trouble when the dealer looked it up and went "WHOA!" before he told me the price.
