Default It's Alive!!!!

Well my bike is running again. First I had to straighten the steering stem from a recent rollover then I added cams, piston, valve springs, clutch springs and did my own head porting . I did some breaking in yesterday and today, but the real test will be next week at Pismo. I can already tell there is way more top end!! I would also like to thank Elliot at RWR for all his help (Great guy!!). Plus a big thanks to Hightower and Majorecho for the help on the springs. While on the spring subject a little FYI. I had to shorten my stock valves by .020" in order to use the Web Cam shim under buckets.

bigbaja - please tell web about your issues with shortening valve stems - they want to blame it on valve and seat wear, but fact is their buckets are way thicker than stock buckets, and that's where the problem lies. they need to change their manufacturing so future people don't end up pulling their head twice for the same mod - or at least tell people when they order the kit that that's what needs done!

I called Web Cams today and told them about the problem with the buckets. They said they would fix the problem.

I filled the stem with sand and used a machine press with wood blocks
