Graydon CDI?
#1
I think I've seen some of you talking about Graydon CDI unit. I'm looking to purchase one (cdi) but am not sure which one to buy. I have no internal engine mods so I'm looking for one with a HIGHER limit not NO LIMIT, any suggestions?

oh that i ask last week and i think they told me 395, my woods cdi were only 295. but they claim good power. gary at tvi is getting a msd cdi and it will have a lot of stuff, do a search there is a new cdi the is starting to come up it is programable.

Doesn't make much sense to pay more for the Graydon while the RWR will suit your needs just as well. Just a thought.

i started off with a rwr box, when i traded ds's i talked to graydon about a new box and he told me his had a totaly different timing curve with alot more power ect. well the earth did not shake when i installed it nor did my new ds run any stronger than befor? maybe on a dyno a few ponies, but i doubt it. the graydon is more $$$ but worth it?

I have an email from Steve Graydon that confirms that the ir CDI has a limit at 9300 .....
I noticed a huge difference in the power curve , this was supported by the dyno results and the seat of the pants feel , the biggest difference i noticed was when u touched the throttle it only needed slight movement to feel the strong power .
At least i know it'll never float the valves !!
cheers
