I am getting a graydon pipe and rev box, an was just wondering if anyone else had one and what you thought of it. I hear a lot about the custom-x exhaust and how good it is, I just hope I'm not making a huge mistake.

jeffnrivercity,I dont wont to jump the gun yet, but,I have tried something new.So far it's lasted two rides, and is still holding. It's that Victor high temp muffler and pipe repair kit.It has a foil that sticks to the surface of the pipe.I cut the width and length of the foil in half.It has this wraping mending material that hardons when you run the moter and get it hot.I put the foil on first, overlaping the mending wrap,at both male connections, then I put the mending wrap on ,at the end of the connection, using the sticky part of the foil over some of the mending wrap. Its wet when you take it out of the package. Then pull hard on
the female pipe back over the male and start it up and run it.Its supposed to hold up to 1500.Will see! This thing has become a quest for me,so I hope this fixess the dam thing.

a 400 dollar pipe shouldnt do that. you shouldnt have to do anything but bolt it on. i am very dissapointed with graydon.

Jerfinoo,

I had the Graydon pipe, it looked great, provided a good gain of power over stock but was not worth the price. Where should I start, the fit was very poor, the mounting holes did not align, it leaked from day one and even though I started with a 200 Main Jet the head pipe would glow. I did not get any responses from Graydon when I left messages for help. I now have a Big Gun pipe it does not have the power that the Graydon pipe produced but the jetting was cake and the fit was pretty good.
GOOD LUCK

Jeff

Go the Custom X. Its a well made pipe and the gains are great the new series two pipe gives 7hp overstock in the bottom end and midrange and the best thing the new series two is only 90db
