The Ron Wood A2 race cams are .433"/276deg. This is what I have for my intake. Since I lost no bottom using the staggered combo I have - or at least any bottom loss was made up for by the piston - I doubt that using a race cam in both positions would be much different on the bottom. I say get the race cams, be it Pami, Woods, or Web - they're all very close to being exactly the same on grind specs.
I spend most of my time in the woods, with plenty of nasty hills, and am very happy with the combo I'm using, but having both race cams would be a plus when I hit the dunes.

Well alls i know for sure is it sounds like most of.OH HeII most what am i saying all of you know more about engines than i do.Im realy an idiot thats why i test by putting things on and yes with most cams everthing about feels the same but the pami cams were so different i will never buy another cam. for preformance i did lose bottom end(but if you think about it most of us are way to low geared anyway's.And what i got on the top is out of this world. im pulling hard right through all the gears and thats no bull.I used to think my bike pulled hard thru the gears well my eye'e have been opened!!! Any way's until the point you go crazey the web 109's are fine upstanding cams and priced right

I am saving up to do to the same thing that Hightower and KENDS did. I want the A2 intake and the A1 exhaust. Both of those guys said that the lost almost nothing if any with the combo of cams and piston. I will go with the 11.5.1 piston so I can still run pump gas for the woods. I currently have a stage 1. I will have some porting done when I get the cams and springs. Its just this dang yellow toy costs me so much money!!

I agree with Hightower, this is the set-up I went with and I am VERY happy with it. In my case I didn't try different set-ups so I can't comment on Pami vs RWR, it just so happened that RWR had the grind that I was looking for. I did the cam change at the same time I did the porting and piston and carb change, so I don't pretend to know how it would work by itself. In combination it gained power everywhere.

i don't mean to contradict AZ at all - I'm just speaking of what I read on everybody's specs - if he says the Pami's hit harder I've no reasons to doubt it, like I said I never ran anything other than what I have. i think collectively most guys on here favor the Pami's over the others on peak power too.
Well guys, looks like i was too late on the Pami cams. I guess i'll be running the RWR sport cams. I decided that i would rather have the Pami's cuz i think they'll work better for my application, but i don't have the funds to buy new. I'll see what the RWR's can do. What springs/retainers do you recomend?

won't the pami's require shim under bucket? vs/ rwr you wont have to mod you'r head ect? i have the A1 rwr on my 760 pami kit. i had a stage III befor the 760,and just reused the head. and i'm sure there are going to be improvments with other cams but wow this thing pulls strong. this winter winter ice racing against my buddies mod shee i ran side by side (he is 80+ hp) and pulled him out of the turns most the time. i would be interested to find out when the higher lift cams fall off. mine is all done making hp @ 8000 there it's just reving not pulling. what are some of you guys with the high lift cams getting for usable rpm's?
Pro Rider
i've dynoed mine before and it pulls hard to about 10,600. its a 650 and i would think that the pami cams would have different cam degree for the bigger motors. not for sure about it.
