IMS 5 gal tanks and stock bars?
The IMS 5 gal tank is next on my save up for list I like the clear and black.. I like the clear so I can see the fuel but I ride woods and it would be dirty right aways and white plastic never looks good even after you clean it..
Ok,
Does the Tank require a bar riser?
Does the tank come with flaring like the stock tank?
What is all included?
Is the Petcock quality?
Anything you dont like?

MudStud:
1. My tank & handlebars don't touch at all.
2. Not sure what flaring you are talking about, it looks perfect on the DS, just like it was a factory part.
3. You get the tank, a small grey fuel hose, a fuel cap, and a sticker. (I don't think it came with instructions.)
4. You will re-use the stock petcock, so you aren't loosing quality.
4.5 You will also need some 6mm screws to re mount the petcock in the new tank, I forget if you need new hardware to mount the front of it - I did because I lost at least one of the bolts somehow.
5. The only thing I didn't like is that they forgot to include a few parts (like the 6mm bolts) other than that it is good. The stock front plastic mounts up to the tank reasonably well.
6. Since you have a yellow DS, your ATV will look alright with either the back or the white so you do have a choice, those with a Baja or Black DS might not want to try a white tank.

I remember Jeffnrivercity saying he told IMS about the problem, (so I bought my 6mm screws ahead of time) maybe they finally fixed it. It seemed really stupid to have to change the screws when they could have used the stock ones. Maybe someone at IMS forgot how to measure and screwed up the first batch of tanks.
