If the packing is Continuous Roving Fiberglass it should not blow out. That is what I have been told

FMF says on a 10-12 hrs to change it!!!!!
EVERY 10 to 12 HOURS?!?! Damn!!!, I don't even check my oil that often.
My Yoshi has better then 60 hours on it and the packing still looks pretty close to the same as when I bought it.
I HATE repacking silencers and to add that to my "every outing" maintenance is unacceptable.
Actually this is great information. The silencer shoot-outs should add this catigory to the list of features when grading a pipe, "Maintenance intervals" can be an important consideration when buying a pipe...for me anyway.

MBRP promises to correct any pipe that EVER shows signs of that problem. So, it truly is a low maintenance pipe as billed with no rivets or screws needed – Ever! Fit and finish warranty remains at 1 year.

Does that mean they will cover it in the first year or EVER? if thats the case then what does the 1 year cover??
How I wonder will one determin if the packing is shot seeing how you cant open the MBRP up??

WOW,
That really is a bold statement for packing. Kinda want to get a MBRP just to test the warranty I know that it will be my next pipe... This 102 DB pipe is really loud.
