hey rotaxrulz did we miss you at the dunes last weekend? was hoping to get a whole line of ds's for the banshees to lose to, actually we ran and lost to the fast ones until the last day they all started to break and go away, endurance it is a good thing well we are looking at the 12-13 but the weather is starting to look poor on the 10 day out look.

SANDMAN, we went a little further south, down to Reedsport Winchester area, it was pretty cool, not quite a choppy as florance, nice smooth dunes as far as you could see......the 15 tooth on the front made a pretty big diff, I think it actually pulls higher rpms in 5th gear, more top end

If you want the extreme's you can get them in a 9 paddles from Jims sand toys for 98 each. I havn't had good luck with them though. I didn't get the extremes, regular haulers work fine for me. I don't think that 8 paddle is a bad thing, specially for steep hills.

KMDuner is right, 9 paddles are TOO much paddle (especially for us BIG guys) for steep/long hills. Its simply will rob you of power, and will be harder on your clutches. The DS likes to rev out, so I would choose a tire that will allow some wheel spin, thus allowing you to stay on top of your power.
Agian, for the smaller guys more paddles are sometimes needed(depending on HP), but for us big guys, a 9..or 10 paddle tire is asking WAY to much of our motors, to haul are BIG ASSES up those long hills! LOL.[true]

thanks everybody!
Good info!
Bigger - I am of just that opinion. More ability to pump with one less paddle (IMO) is a good thing.
I will order the 22/11/10 - 8paddle today. Cheep! $238.00 to my door.
Thanks again guys.

You can get a 21x12x8 9 paddle extreme from rocky mtn. I think that gives the tire a more rounded profile instead of the paddles laying more flat. I think, I am not sure because I dont know if I have seen the 22x11x10.
I paid $235 to my door for the 21x12x8 to my door with tires, wheels, and chrome valve stems. Rocky mtn is great. I run this tire on my banshee and it is working very well, but I only have one trip with them so far.
