Well, obviously there was other people there. I was refering to those that I had met so far, and those that replied to the thread he started that I had met before. There were several Ds's there. My brothers was the other fast yellow DS and Scotts drunk Baja.

 

I think that some of the others made it out Saturday night and or Sunday. We left Saturday night so we could make it to the quad races at Glen Hellen on Sunday. Trust me Scott, Dave didn't forget you. He still wants and hopes when he get his bike back together that it runs and fast as yours. It sure better. The stuff he's having done ain't cheap.
I might have to work this weekend. Not sure yet. But even if I didn't I belive that Glamis is what we where going to try and do.

I'm not sure where we will set up camp this trip. If people start flaking then Bombastic (Gary) and I are probably going to do a Saturday day trip at the very least. (I'm really not into day trips that far away, but he convinced me to do it anyway if need be - though I'm really hoping we get some night riding this trip. (I've got a cool LED light for my whip & some high power lights for my stock Baja lights to keep me in a wealth of light even at night.)

The only thing I can say about where camp would be is that I have the coordinates for where I camped last time I was there & that never seems to be the same spot twice. Maybe with some luck the 'first person on site' will go to these GPS coordinates & we can make it easy to find everyone on these trips. N 35.41.394 W 116.14.246. Those are the coordinates as reported by my Garmin GPS12, which seems pretty darn accurate. Is anyone going out Friday night?

I just spent a couple of hours tonight installing my IMS 5 gallon tank (Bombardier moved the oil outlet line so on the 2003 models you have to be VERY careful to not kink the line thus cutting off your oil supply when installing the tank.) That took a while, however I spent 10 minutes installing my Pro-Armor skids - those things are perfection of aluminum! Tomorrow night I'll install the Kill switches.

<[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]> Looks like I'll get to ride with you guys this weekend...I plan on being there Saturday mid-morning, early afternoon. Will be testing and tuning my stageIII special...getting her broke-in before "snake hunt"!

 

I can't make it this weekend, but will be there next weekend for Easter.

I will have a brand new DS there.
