Default Oil res. relocation

To those people that have tried to relocate the oil reservoir to under the seat. How did it work out for you? Is there any aftermarket for that yet?

I would like to shave as much weight as possible from my stock 01' DS? Give me suggestions if you have some.

If I can't shave it I would like to at least redistribute it more to the rear? what should I do, and what have you done

THANKS

Not to discourage you too much, however I heard a company tried to do this and wasted two engines before they gave up. I don't know any of the specifics though. If you can get it to work reliably, a lot of people would love that sort of thing.

the last time i had my oil tank out i would have to guess it weighed about 5lbs or less? the weight comes in with the amount of oil in it. unless you'r willing to run less oil volume i don't see how a different tank will help?

It uses crank case presure to creat a false atmosphere in the tank and also pulls a vacum on the bottom of the tank. and jeffroe better weight dist. to help keep the fr4ont light so she can preform like the little guy's (only faster) and yes we are still working on a tank

How much would you say it weighs with all the oil in it. And are there any other ways to shave or distribute lb's.

Let's hear the cool and crazy ideas
