Its been posted here before but it bears repeating...Offroad Warehouse has the exact same fan for 71.98 all day long its part # 30100402. I also found one at Jaycorp for 61.00 (same part #)but not sure if the plug is the same. No Need to buy from Bomb and pay through the nose for it.

 

When my fan quit in 2000, I tore into it and found that the tiny wires going to the four brushes were very fragile and one of them had broke. I resoldered them all and I havn't had a problem. It was very tricky getting it back together.

I now that 10 runs up Glamis hill might be tough, but think of a hill maybe half the size that take 3 times as long to get up and you can't shift out of second gear because you are pushing 6 inches of snow.
There is no way I can get rid of my fan. I do already have rad shrouds and do want to install an inline cooler. Where did you buy yours and how much ?
I have always installed the fans myself, I have tried shims, rubber washers and every other thing including lock tight. I always do make sure that the fan is centered and spins freely. The bolts still fall out and the fan will fail in 6 months.

I am going to design a bracket to mount my next one the same way as the Baja, with the bolts going straight in. I still believe that is hy they fail because the way they mount, why else would they change the mount in the new one and the Baja.
